It is our goal as breeder's to ensure and produce only quality,
healthy, vibrant, and happy puppies that are warm in character, capable of working in a variety of fields from loyal personal
companion, to the highest competition level of sporting dog to protector and defenders of our Law Enforcement communities
You can
expect a puppy from Southbark Kennels to be personally selected with your specific needs in mind. We literally spend hundreds
of hours with our puppies from the time they are born until the time they are ready to leave for their new homes. We pay a
great deal of attention to detail and know each of our puppies’ very specific characters, individual qualities and unique
personalities. We are clearly able to recognize these individualities within a litter, and place our puppies accordingly with
great success. Our puppies are raised in a spacious, clean, stimulating, and enriching age appropriate and interchangeable
environment, that is designed to enhance the early presence of their natural abilities with confidence through exploring,
stimulation, sounds and interactions within a positive, and praise motivated setting.
We have already done some initial training
and socialization for you already such as:
Kinesthetic - (Touching, Sniffing, Digging, Tasting, Chewing,
Eating and Playing)
Auditory - (Exposure
to all sorts of Natural and Domestic noises which vary in Volume, Sound, and Pitch.)
Visual - (Seeing many things shapes and colors within the K9 color
spectrums and responding to sight commands and cues including human face and lip cues.)
Socialization –
(Meeting other puppies and dogs at different ages and other breeds. Meeting different people with a wide variety of ages and
lot’s yes lots of children “Who doesn’t know children and puppies go hand in hand?” We also introduce
Kittens and Cats and of course lots of other animals.)
Basic house training
– (Where is the bathroom? Where is my place? Where do I eat? Where do I sleep? Wow is this your car? Nice tires!)
